Lines are simple yet sophisticated, featuring either straight lines or rounded profiles. While colors are subdued, finishes are distinct and rich. Akin to contemporary design, transitional spaces tend to have neutral color palettes with hues of tan, beige, taupe, ivory and grey all contribute to provide an approachable, peaceful and comfortable interior. As a nod to the property’s coastal location, the palette has beach undertones while stating, “This is not our grandfather’s beach resort.” The revered “Living Room” remains intact as an homage to L’Auberge’s authentic appreciation of community and a timeless sense of place.
