At the World Club awards in 2005, crobar New York swept the awards in all five categories it was nominated for, including best interior nightclub design, lighting and sound design. Crobar New York quickly became known worldwide as the mother of all nightclubs. New York City had not experienced high level concept nightclub development, nightclub design and production since the early 1980s. New York magazine aptly compared this mega venue as part dance club, part hipster social scene, and part movie set comparable only to the legendary Studio 54. To date, crobar New York remains the most published interior nightclub design in any arena to date.
